Well it's been a long time

Well it's been a long time since I have blogged. I miss it. But then again I miss my life. I miss coming home to a nice house that is big enough for not only my family and our things. We are currently cramped in a one bedroom house and Dennis isn't even home yet. I can't wait for Dennis to be home. We are counting down the days. It's been hard adjusting to no longer being military. I miss it I miss it so much that it makes me sick. I miss having money in our account, I miss seeing my husband everyday, I miss the happy little boy that use to shreek when he saw us come home from work or pick him up from daycare or school. What happen to those days. Oh yeah someone made a lie about my husband and our lives crumbled. Crumbled around us so fast. I didn't know we could hire a real military lawyer. I didn't know a lot of things until lately. It's amazing to me how your life goes to shit in a minute and your life takes forever to build back up. I had to sell things that took me so long to buy. I cried yes I cried when I sold those things. I know they are just things but they were my things, our things. But I will make again. Hopefully the stuff that is happening to me at work now just goes away cause I can't handle anymore. I can't believe anymore crap can be handed to people. Well I must get going take care!! Kari

Yes I know

Yes I know I totally suck at this. Well I am so sorry. You would of thought with winter that I would have had this thing up to date. Well I didn't and I am sorry. Alot has happened since January. We have all grown a bit. Maison is no longer a baby he is still my baby but still. He has turned 5 and he lets you know it. He has gotten so big. He is tall and has big feet. LOL The child within winter alone went from a size 11 to a size 1. Some shoes I swear he wore for a day. He no longer wears 4T he is now in 6's and easly by mid summer will be in 7's thanks to his height. No waist all legs. I am signing him up to play T-ball this week I am still debating on football I really didn't like the coachs last year for football since it was only certain children that learned the game and got to play. Maison will be in summer school to help him out with his ocupational therapy and speech. He is doing alot better and is saying more and more words everyday. He starts kindergarden in the fall. I know you all want to know when we are having another. I hate to tell you but it won't be for awhile unless you want to pay the daycare bill. I cried when they gave me my new rate last week. I was horrified that I now have to pay 600 a month for a non infant. My rate increased over 100 a month. Sad thing is my pay raise was only 10cents an hour. So needless to say I am not paying $1200 a month for daycare when I only make $1800. LOL I had to put this in here since I keep getting asked.. Other than that we are all doing well. Dennis is currently gone to school he won't be back until end of May time frame. He has been gone a week. We are doing fine with it. Heck Maison and I are Pro's at this. I started a new buisness venture. I now sell Slumber Parties as a part time thing. It is fun gets me out of the house and able to meet new people and everyone knows how much I love to talk. Random trains

So as I sit here trying to relax. HAHAHA!! As Masion is crashing his trucks into the wall, Dennis is yelling at him to stop and the dogs running around. I came to realize I have spread myself way to thin these days and I don't mean in my waist. I so wish it was my waist. With the hustle and busel of the holidays you would think one would be able to sit down and enjoy themselfs, family and the bringing in of the new year. Well that is so not happening. Maison we will start with him. My dear loving son!! Started at his new school. So dumb heads thought they would move his special ed class to another school. So all the children that are on base are now moved to a different school. Now why they choose to do this in the middle of the school year with a winter break notice I have yet to figure out. My bitching and yelling and nicely talking has gotten me nowhere. I have child who now hates his new teacher, hides from her under his desk and refuses to come out. UGH!! For those that do not know I work full time I am not a homebody and don't care to be one. SO I have to hurry from work to now get Maison from school since this one gets out an hour and half earlier than the last one. Onto the next a good friend of mine went on a six month deployment and I steped up and told her I would take care of her turtles. Mind you I do not know one dam thing about turtles. So after many days of climbing three flights of stairs in the dorms to her room to feed and change turtle water I begged Dennis to move them to the house. I so need the exersise but can not find the time in my day to do this all the time. Next a very good friend of mines mom passed away on Thursday I the good friend person I am stepped up to help her out. I am now watching her house and her two dogs for the next month. So now I go to her house 4 times a day within my very short day. Yes I am still working hurrying home to get Maison from school and doing all of this. Not to mention my normal duities of taking care of my own dogs, the fish, Maison, Dennis, the house,cleaning, doing laundry and going to work. Where did that me time go. Oh yeah what little of it that I do have I am typing this to you all. So that you know why I do not answer my phone, the doorbell or email messages. Well I have to get going it is time to make my pet rounds before I go to bed.....HUgs Kari

ITs Almost Gone!!!

So 2008 is almost gone. Can you believe it I sure can't. We have been in Alaska for a little over a year now. I have to say I do so love it. I love how everything is so laid back and calm. Granted yes it does get cold. What can I say to that as I am sitting in my house with my spare heaters running since it is -46 (below) outside. We are suppose to get to -60 tonight we shall see. And even though you cars are still pluged in it does not mean they will start. As we have found out since the car is in the drive not starting. UGH!! Oh well we still have the trucks. We have to get the car back into the garage and take the trailblazer out. We have a had a wonderful year. And as many of you may have noticed I have not sent out any Christmas Cards. I am so sorry but I lost track of time. I worked all Christmas week including Christmas day. I work 6 days a week on average. So I am not home all that much. Dennis is doing well even though he hates that his job keeps switching his schedule. (Granted he is not the only one). Maison is also doing well. He had surgery in November to get his snoring problems fixed and some other minor issues taken care of. Now he no longer snores and is starting to breathe through his nose. We went to Anchorage this summer for our anniversary it was a blast. We are planning lots of trips for this summer to include our Glacier cruise and maybe a trip to Hawaii. Dennis leaves for schooling in May/June. So when he gets back we will hopefully get our trips done before he goes back for more schooling in October. Well hopefully I will get better at this blog thing!! LOL Happy New Year. Kari

Yeah I so suck

Well... Its been like three months since I have written in this thing. I am so sorry. We have been super busy. I moved my computer upstairs and have yet to hook it up..LOL Maison had surgery in November his is doing well and has recovered completely. He is moving to a new school in January. Christmas is fast approaching and we are all done with shopping. This is the first time I have had black Friday off so I went shopping. I have to work Christmas Day for a few hours bit we do have a full day planned. We are having alot of airman over for dinner. It will be a blast. I wanted to say Happy Birthday, Happy Holidays to everyone. I am really late on Christmas cards so I will hopefully get New Years Cards out. I am still waiting to get the perfect picture for the cards. Yes I am so working on all of it. Well Hugs and Kisses to all!!!

Winter is here

Well winter is here. Why you ask. Well because it snowed yesturday and got down to 15 degrees last night. Yep its here. Pretty soon we will be in the negatives and I will be having to plug the truck in and warm it up for 20-30 minutes. No more going outside with wet hair as it will just freeze and fall off. Oh well it is my favorite season so yes I am so looking forward to it. I love it the cold, snow and ice cycles hanging everywhere. Call me crazy but I do so love it. Maison loves the snow also he was so excited yesturday when it was snowing. It did not stick however but soon enough it will.. Hugs and Kisses

FALL IS HERE!!

Well fall has arrived in this great state. I love it. The trees are turning beautiful colors the leaves are falling. I have decorated for Fall. My decore has changed outside. The pumkins are out and we are ready for Halloween. This may sound funny to you all but tomorrow we put up Christmas lights on the house. We have to do it before it gets to cold and the snow starts falling. This is the first weekend the base lets us do it. All four of us houses that are connected have a theme this year. We are all putting out icecyle lights white ones. And each enrty way has a theme. I really don't know what mine is yet. But hey I have time to think of that one. Maison is doing well. He started speech preschool and they are testing him on a few things since he has some anger issues. He doesn't like big groups either and gets really mean. So they are trying to figure some things out with him. Other that that we are doing great. I am trying to get into swimming lessons as the kid loves water. We had a birthday party last weekend that we went to and we could not get the kid out of the water. He did so well. We are also thinking of renting the pool out for his 5Th birthday party in March. It was such a hit for our friend that we would like to do it also. There isn't alot you can do in the winter. Well the weather has changed quite quickly also. We were having beautiful summer days with low 70's and now we are in the low 50's to 40's. This week they are calling for snow and low 30's. We will see. I mowed the lawn for the last time this summer. Since we are calling for snow I had to get the yard ready for it. I only have a little bit left of the yard to do but I got cold so I had to come in. Yes I had a jacket and pants on. I know what you all are thinking since i live in shorts and short sleeve shirts. We have some pictures taken of Maison and they turned out great. Keep an eye out in the mail around Christmas for them. He has school pictures this week. Oh where does the time go... OK Maison is telling me he wants lunch so I must be off.
